Skyline Valley
An update for Fallout 76 that expands the map southwards with a new region, quest line and boss event!
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
For the duration of Skyline Valley, I was in a Level Design role. I started as a Junior Level Designer and by the end had progressed to being a Level Designer. My responsibilities for this patch included:

Conceptualising and planning locations and POIs that fit the setting of the region.

Pitching location and POI ideas to external partners, receiving feedback and iterating until approval.

Planning location and POI placement within region.
-
Planning intended traversal of players within the region.
-
Planning, placing and iterating on creature placement/distribution within the region.
-
Pitching and implementation of a new mechanic to be used within the region.
-
Blocking out locations and POIs in the region (pictured below).

Iterating level layouts from regular play testing and peer/lead reviews.
-
Performing initial clutter passes of locations.
-
Performing loot passes of locations and iterating on loot placement as a result of feedback.
-
Placing enemy NPCs within my owned locations and setting up their intended behaviour (Patrols etc.).

Maintaining Navigation Mesh of my owned locations and of the region proper.

Writing location specific fiction for my owned locations.
-
Working with Environment Art to assist them when Art passing my owned locations.
-
Working with Quest Design to tailor my owned quest locations to ensure they were fit for purpose.

Creating the main quest hub of the expansion where players would receive most of their quests (Vault 63 Atrium).

Providing technical support to colleagues that needed assistance with location/enemy NPC setup.
